      • Rožňava v znamení medzinárodných priateľstiev: Privítali sme hostí zo Španielska a Portugalska!

         

        Naša škola sa tento týždeň premenila na pestrú mozaiku jazykov, kultúr a inovácií. V rámci programu Erasmus+ sme s veľkou radosťou na domácej pôde privítali učiteľov a žiakov z malebného španielskeho mestečka Ibi a z exotického mestečka Câmara de Lobos, ktoré sa nachádza na portugalskom ostrove Madeira. 

        Tradičné privítanie a výmena vedomostí 

        Hneď v úvode sme našim hosťom ukázali kúsok nášho srdca a histórie. Privítali sme ich tak, ako sa na správnych Slovanov patrí – tradičným zvykom, chlebom a soľou. Po srdečnom prijatí sa program presunul do pracovnej, no veľmi inšpiratívnej roviny: 

        • Portugalskí priatelia nám ukázali budúcnosť vzdelávania. Predstavili nám fascinujúce možnosti využitia umelej inteligencie (AI) a jej praktické prepojenie s vyučovacím procesom. 

        • Španielski partneri sa zamerali na tému ekológie. Prezentovali svoje inovatívne riešenia environmentálnych problémov a konkrétne kroky, ktorými ich škola prispieva k ochrane našej planéty. 

        • Naši žiaci sa nenechali zahanbiť a s nadšením zdieľali svoje zážitky a nadobudnuté skúsenosti z predchádzajúcich mobilít, ktoré absolvovali práve v Španielsku a na Madeire. 

        Oficiálne prijatie na radnici 

        Vzácnu návštevu si uctilo aj naše mesto. Účastníci projektu boli prijatí v historických priestoroch radnice, kde ich privítal zástupca primátora mesta Rožňava, pán M. Drengubiak. Oficiálne stretnutie podčiarklo dôležitosť medzinárodnej spolupráce a budovania európskych priateľstiev. 

        História ukrytá v QR kódoch 

        Popoludnie sa nieslo v znamení dobrodružstva. Hostia absolvovali interaktívnu hodinu dejepisu, ktorá spojila históriu s modernými technológiami. Pomocou riešenia zaujímavých úloh ukrytých v QR kódoch spoznávali najkrajšie zákutia a tajomstvá Rožňavy. 

        Najväčší úspech zožali tieto dominanty: 

        1. Mestská strážna veža: Výhľad na panorámu mesta a okolitú prírodu všetkým vyrazil dych. 

        1. Katedrála Nanebovzatia Panny Márie: Hostia neskrývali obdiv nad architektúrou a vzácnymi umeleckými dielami, ktoré tento duchovný stánok ukrýva. 

        "Je úžasné vidieť, ako Erasmus spája mladých ľudí. Dnes sme sa nielen učili o AI či ekológii, ale tvorili sme spomienky, ktoré prekonávajú hranice štátov." 

        Veríme, že tento týždeň bude pre našich hostí nezabudnuteľný a že priateľstvá nadviazané v Rožňave budú prekvitať aj po ich návrate domov.

        Rožňava in the sign of international friendships: We have welcomed quests from Spain and Portugal!  

        Our school was transformed into a colourful mosaic of languages, cultures and innovations this week. Within the programme Erasmus+, we were very happy to welcome teachers and pupils from a picturesque Spanish small town Ibi and from an exotic small town Câmara de Lobos which is located on the Portuguese island of Madeira on our home soil.  

        Traditional welcome and knowledge exchange  

        Right at the beginning, we showed our guests a part of our heart and history. We welcomed them in a way that is specific for proper Slovenians - with a traditional custom, bread and salt. After the warm welcome, the programme shifted to working, but very inspiring level:  

        • the Portuguese friends showed us the future education – fascinating options of AI use and its practical interconnection with educational process.  

        • the Spanish partners focused on the topic of ecology. They presented their innovative solutions to environmental problems and specific steps which their school uses to contribute to protection of our planet.  

        • Our pupils didn’t let themselves to be embarrassed and they shared enthusiastically their experience from previous mobilities which they attended directly in Spain and in Madeira.  

        Official reception at the Town Hall  

        Our town also honoured the distinguished visitors. The project participants were welcomed in the historic premises of the Town Hall by the deputy mayor of Rožňava Town, Mrs. M. Drengubiak. The official meeting highlighted the importance of international collaboration and building of European friendships.  

        History hidden in QR codes  

        The afternoon was full of adventures. The guests took part in an interactive History lesson which connected the history with modern technologies. By solving interesting tasks hidden in QR codes, they got to know the most beautiful parts and secrets of Rožňava.  

        The most attractive were these prominent landmarks:  

        1. Town Watch Tower: View of the town panorama and surrounding nature took everybody’s breath away.  

        1. Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary: The guests didn’t hide their admiration for the architecture and valuable pieces of art which were located in this spiritual house.  

        “It is great to see how Erasmus connects young people. Today, we have learnt not only about AI and ecology, but we have also created memories which surpass the state borders.”  

        We believe that this week will be unforgettable for our guests and that the friendships made in Rožňava will also flourish after their return home.

        • Erasmus+ v pohybe: Keď sa učebňou stávajú Tatry, dielne aj brehy Slanej

        • Erasmus+ v pohybe: Keď sa učebňou stávajú Tatry, dielne aj brehy Slanej

           

          Náš týždeň so španielskymi a portugalskými priateľmi nabral raketové tempo! Po srdečnom privítaní sme vymenili klasické lavice za svet plný zážitkov, objavovania slovenskej prírody a kreatívneho tvorenia. Pozrite sa, čo všetko sme počas uplynulých dní zažili. 

          💃 Utorok: Tanec, história a matematika v parku 

          Ráno sme v telocvični rozprúdili krv v žilách slovenským temperamentom. Pod vedením našich žiakov sa hostia učili kroky ľudových tancov i základy florbalu. Po dopoludňajšom bloku geografie a spoločnom plánovaní na platforme eTwinning sme sa presunuli do rozprávkového areálu kaštieľa v Betliari. Tam nás čakala matematika, akú v zošitoch nenájdete – počítanie v historických súvislostiach priamo v areáli šľachtického sídla. 

          🏔️ Streda: Od tatranských štítov k remeselným tradíciám 

          Streda patrila slovenskej pýche – Vysokým Tatrám. Naši hostia neskrývali úžas pri pohľade na Popradské a Štrbské pleso, ktoré im ukázali tú najkrajšiu tvár našej prírody. Cestou späť sme sa ponorili ešte hlbšie do našich koreňov. V malebnej Rejdovej sme navštívili tradičnú drevenicu a nahliadli sme do tajomstiev výroby krojov. Obdivovať precíznu prácu miestnych majstrov bol pre všetkých nezabudnuteľný kultúrny zážitok. 

          🚀 Štvrtok: Vedecký tím v teréne a recyklované umenie 

          Štvrtok bol dňom veľkých objavov a kreativity: 

          • Environmentálna misia: Na chémii sme nezostali v učebni, ale vyrazili sme k rieke Slaná. Študenti priamo v teréne skúmali zloženie vody a analyzovali dopady znečistenia z baní v Nižnej Slanej na ekosystém. 

          • Fyzika, ktorá letí: Cesta človeka do vesmíru a ambiciózna misia Artemis nás úplne pohltili! Naši žiaci sa na chvíľu stali konštruktérmi a zostrojili si vlastné rakety. Vyvrcholením bolo ich vypúšťanie na školskom dvore, ktoré sprevádzal nielen úspešný štart, ale aj búrlivý potlesk všetkých spolužiakov. 

          • Technika s posolstvom: V školských dielňach sme dali "odpadu" druhú šancu. Pod rukami mladých dizajnérov vznikali z recyklovaných materiálov originálne vešiaky, hudobné nástroje a lapače snov.

          Erasmus+ on the move: When the Tatras become a classroom and the banks of the Slaná River workshops  

          Our week with Spanish and Portuguese friends picked up speed! After the warm welcome, we exchanged the classic desks for the world full of adventures, discovering Slovak nature and creative work. Look at everything we had experienced during the last days.  

          💃 Tuesday: Dance, history and Maths in a park  

          In the morning, we got our blood pumping with Slovak temperament. Under the leadership of our pupils, the guests learned steps of folk dances and the basic rules of floorball. After the morning block lessons of Geography and joint planning at the platform of eTwinning, we moved to fairytale area of the Betliar manor. There was a Maths lesson waiting for us, the type of lesson you won’t find in the notebook – counting in historical relations directly around the noble residence.  

          🏔️ Wednesday: From Tatras’ peaks to artisanal traditions  

          Wednesday belonged to the Slovak pride – the High Tatras. Our guests didn’t hide their awe when looking at Poprad and Štrba tarn where we showed them the most beautiful face of our nature. During the journey back, we dived even deeper into our roots. In picturesque Rejdová, we visited a traditional wooden house and looked at the secrets of folk costume making. It was an unforgettable cultural experience, for everyone, to admire the precise work of local masters.  

          💃 Thursday: Scientific team in terrain and recycling art  

          Thursday was a day of big discoveries and creativity:  

          • Environmental mission: At Chemistry, we didn’t stay in the classroom, we were headed to the Slaná River. The students, directly in the terrain, examined the composition of the water and analysed the impact of the pollution from the mines in Nižná Slaná on the ecosystem.  

          • Physics which flies: We were completely swallowed up by the human journey into space and the ambitious mission of Artemis! For a minute, our pupils became constructers and they made their own rockets. The climax was their launching at the school yard, which was accompanied by not only a successful start, but also thunderous applause of all classmates.  

          • Technical education with a message: In school workshops, we gave “trash” the second chance. Under the hands of small designers, original hangers, musical instruments and dream catchers were made from recycled materials.

        • Všetko sa raz končí, no dôležité je, aby sme končili vo veľkom štýle!

           

          Náš týždeň plný medzinárodných priateľstiev a nových skúseností v rámci programu **Erasmus+** vyvrcholil dňom, na ktorý budeme ešte dlho spomínať. Program bol od rána nabitý zážitkami a emóciami. 

           🔦 Ranné dobrodružstvo v podzemí 

          Deň sme odštartovali hneď zrána výpravou za prírodnými krásami nášho regiónu. Navštívili sme dychberúce priestory Gombaseckej jaskyne. Pre našich zahraničných hostí bola návšteva podzemia s unikátnou sintrovou výzdobou jedným z najsilnejších zážitkov celého pobytu. Ticho a majestátnosť jaskyne nás dokonale naladili na zvyšok dňa. 

          💻 eTwinning a športový duch 

          Po návrate do školy sme sa pustili do práce. V rámci eTwinning aktivít žiaci v medzinárodných tímoch spracovávali zážitky, fotografie a vedomosti, ktoré počas týždňa nadobudli. Digitálne technológie nám pomohli prepojiť naše školy aj do budúcna. 

           

          Bodkou za školským programom bol florbalový turnaj. Školská telocvičňa ožila zdravou súťaživosťou, v ktorej však nešlo o výsledky, ale o tímovú spoluprácu a fairplay. Bolo skvelé vidieť, ako šport dokáže spojiť deti z rôznych krajín v jeden tím. 

          🌭 Rozlúčková grilovačka  

          Záver dňa patril oddychu a utužovaniu vzťahov. Obrovské poďakovanie patrí Saleziánom, ktorí nám veľkoryso poskytli ich krásne priestory. V tomto príjemnom prostredí sme usporiadali záverečnú spoločnú grilovačku, kde sa smiech a debaty ozývali do neskorého večera. 

          ❤️ Srdce projektu: Naši rodičia 

          Hovorí sa, že domov nerobia steny, ale ľudia. A vďaka vám, milí rodičia, sa naši hostia cítili u nás presne tak – ako doma.  

           Naše veľké „ĎAKUJEME“ smeruje práve vám za:

          Skvelé pohostenie, ktoré ste s láskou pripravili. 

          Vrelú pohostinnosť, s ktorou ste prijali deti do svojich rodín. 

          Krásny program**, ktorým ste vyplnili voľný čas a ukázali hosťom kúsok nášho života u nás na Slovensku. 

           Tento týždeň nám ukázal, že hranice existujú len na mapách, nie v našich srdciach. Veríme, že nadviazané priateľstvá budú pokračovať aj po odchode našich hostí. 

          Ďakujeme všetkým, ktorí priložili ruku k dielu a urobili tento Erasmus týždeň nezabudnuteľným!** 

           Everything ends one day, but the important thing is to finish in a great style! Our week full of international friendships and new experience within the programme **Erasmus+** culminated in the day we would recall for a long time. The programme was filled with experience and emotions since the morning.  

            

          🔦 Morning underground adventure  

          The day started right in the morning with an expedition to see the natural beauties of our region. We visited breath-taking space of the Gombasek cave. For our foreign guests, the underground visit with unique sinter decorations was one of the most powerful experience of the whole stay. The silence and majesty of the cave set us up perfectly for the rest of the day.  

             💻 eTwinning and sport spirit  

          After the return to school, we started to work. Within the eTwinning activities, the pupils in international teams processed experiences, photos and knowledge which they acquired during the week. Digital technologies helped us to connect our schools also for the future.  

            

          A dot after the school programme was a floorball tournament. The school gym came alive with healthy competition where results weren’t important, the important was team cooperation and fair play. It was great to see how sport can connect children from different countries as one team.  

           🌭 Farewell grill party   

          The end of the day was about relax and strengthening relationships. The huge thank you belongs to Salesians who generously provided their beautiful premises. In this pleasant environment, we organized a farewell grill party where laugh and debates echoed until the late evening.  

          ❤️ Hearth of the project: Our parents  

          It is said that home is not made by walls, but by people. And thanks to you, dear parents, our guests felt exactly as – at home.   

          Our huge "THANK YOU" is directed just to you for:  

          Great refreshments which you prepared for us with love.  

          Warm hospitality with which you welcomed the children into your families.  

          Beautiful programme with which you filled the free time and showed the guests a part of our lives here in our Slovakia.  

            This week showed us that borders exist only in the maps, not in our hearts. We believe that established friendships will also continue after the departure of our guests.  

            We thank everybody who put their hands to work and made this Erasmus week unforgettable!
